Job Title: Mixologist & Hospitality Professional
Location:
The Laundry Room
Experience Required:
3–5+ years in high-volume, craft-cocktail, or Michelin-starred environments.
The Role:
We are seeking a "full-spectrum" bartender. In our environment, the line between front-of-house and back-of-house is blurred. You aren't just a drink-maker; you are a storyteller, a chemist, and a technician who understands that a $25 cocktail is only as good as the hospitality accompanying it.
Key Responsibilities:
• Precision Execution: Prepare complex, multi-component drinks (including house-made tinctures, fat-washed spirits, and clarified liquids) with 100% consistency under high pressure.
• Agile Hospitality: Cross-train across all roles (host, server, bar-back). We operate as a "skillfully agile" team where no task—from polishing glass to clearing a table—is beneath any member.
• Menu Innovation: Contribute to seasonal R&D. Utilize advanced techniques (centrifugation, sous-vide, molecular gastronomy) to push the boundaries of flavor and presentation.
• Curated Experience: Act as a "liquid sommelier," guiding guests through spirit histories, flavor profiles, and bespoke recommendations.
Core Competencies (What We Look For)
• A "Humble" Mindset: Despite your expertise, you possess a "day-one" willingness to learn and a total lack of pretension.
• Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of classic cocktail structures, spirits chemistry, and ice programs.
• Sense of Urgency: The ability to maintain a "ballet-like" flow behind the bar during peak hours without sacrificing meticulous cleanliness.
• Extreme Attention to Detail: From the exact angle of a garnish to the condensation on a glass, you see what others miss.
